Iced Coffee Floats

Yeah it is still freezing here in Chicago. But quite frankly, I can’t wait any longer for iced coffee. For a little treat, I made myself some iced coffee floats. That’s right. I added ice cream. And Bailey’s. Okay so it wasn’t exactly a LITTLE treat. It was a gigantic cup of summer goodness on a Sunday afternoon. Better yet, it takes no longer than cooling off a cup of coffee.

Take fresh brewed coffee and seal it up in a mason jar and place it in the fridge until completely cooled. I let mine sit over night.

Take 2-3 scoops of ice cream and add them to a glass.

Add 2 oz. Bailey’s Hazlenut Irish Cream.

Top with the iced coffee. Stir and enjoy!

For a non-alcoholic version, I used this AMAZING caramel syrup I received for Christmas. This stuff is seriously addicting. It actually sweetens your coffee, rather than just adding the caramel flavor.

I am in love with it. So in love actually, that I think I preferred the non-alcoholic version. THAT’S A FIRST!

For the caramel version, just substitute the 2 oz. of Bailey’s with about 1 oz. of the syrup. A little goes a long way :)

Let’s all play a game called “Winter Sucks”! Tell me the thing you miss MOST about summertime in a comment. My answer would definitely be eating nachos at a baseball game. Now that I have my iced coffee fix, that is!
