Blended Coffee Recipe

If you’re like me, you consider a frozen coffee a treat. At work, I like both my hot or iced coffee black and to kick me right in the face. When I go for a blended coffee (my personal favorite is Tim Hortons Iced Capp) I want it to be super sweet and rich. And yeah, topped with whipped cream!

Blended Coffee Recipe

1 cups chilled coffee – double strength
1/2 cup flavored coffee creamer
1.5 cups ice

To make my double strength coffee I filled my pot to the 4-cup line with water and used 1/2 cup of coffee grounds (a regular ‘House Blend’). Then, I poured it in a glass container and stored it in the fridge until it was COMPLETELY cool. Don’t make this with anything other than really cold coffee – it will turn out to be the wrong consistency.

For this particular treat, I used International Delight Hershey’s Chocolate Caramel and I think it was PERFECT. I recommend it.

International Delight Coffee Creamer

To make this indulgent little iced beverage, add the iced coffee, creamer and ice to a blender (in that order – or at least just make sure the ice is last!) and then blend until smooth. I use the ‘ice crusher’ setting and then the ‘liquefy’ setting to make sure everything is nice and creamy.

Top with whipped cream (or not, if you aren’t into that) and enjoy!
